Unexpected Ways Sobriety Changed Me
Four Major Plot-Twists After Almost Four Years Without Drinking
It's no secret that removing alcohol from your life can have amazing benefits. Things like more quality sleep, better skin, steadier moods, heightened clarity, extra energy, etc. The list goes on and on because the benefits of sobriety are truly endless. But after nearly four years out of removing alcohol from my life, there's a lot of changes I've noticed in my life that nobody mentioned anywhere at any point. As personal as they are to my own life experiences, they're also directly correlated to my ditching booze.
I wanted to get a little deeper on this topic, and talk about a few major changes I've observed that go beyond the ones that are often repeated by others. They’re deep. Don't get me wrong - extra energy, better sleep and improved skin are nothing to bat a lash at and totally worth it. But there's also other changes that take place, essentially rearranging who you are as a person and your own little world around you.
